SUBJECT: Company Training Meeting Policy
1. Company training meetings are critical to ensure professional, well-executed training. Training
meetings are held to coordinate training plans, evaluate company METL, forecast and allocate training resources,
determine evaluation criteria, and identify/resolve training distractors.
2. Company training meetings will be held every Friday at 1900 hours and conducted in accordance
with the procedures outlined in TC 25-30, Leader’s Guide to Company Training Meetings. Exceptions to this
routine may include major training events or deployment. Attendees include the Commander, First Sergeant,
Platoon Leaders, Fire Direction Officer, Platoon Sergeants, Gunnery Sergeants, Section Cheifs, Maintenance
NCOIC, Armorer, and Supply Sergeant.
3. During the course of the meeting, we will evaluate the past month training and conduct assessment
of battle tasks if applicable, coordinate/evaluate the current months’s training, and review by month the three
upcoming months of training. Duration of the meeting will not normally exceed one hour, with the final five
minutes allocated to dissemination of any critical administrative information.
