1. PURPOSE
Under the authority vested in the Secretary of Defense by Reference (a), this Directive:
1.1. Reissues Reference (b) to update the mission, organization and management,
responsibilities and functions, relationships, and authorities of the DoDHRA, under the Under
Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (USD(P&R)), in accordance with Reference
(c).
1.2. Establishes the Defense Language Office (DLO), the Sexual Assault Prevention and
Response Office (SAPRO), and the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO) within the
DoDHRA.
