Purpose: In accordance with the authority in DoD Directive 5134.01, this issuance:
• Establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and provides procedures for LLRW disposal in
accordance with DoD Directive 4715.1E and DoD Instruction 4715.06.
• Establishes the LLRW Disposition Advisory Committee (LLRWDAC).
