1. PURPOSE.
a. The Coast Guard works with a large volume of technical data that must be managed and
controlled.
(1) Reference (a) requires TDM to be conducted in accordance with Technical Data
Plan prepared as a part of the asset’s Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP). The
Technical Data Plan describes how the program will obtain and manage technical
data and data rights for the supported asset.
