Subj: CH-1 TO COMDTINST M1754.15 (CHILD DEVELOPMENT SERVICES MANUAL)
1. PURPOSE
. This Notice publishes changes to Chapters 4 and 5 in the
Coast Guard Child Development Services Manual. This Notice applies to
all commands with responsibilities for child development services
programs. Intended users of this change are Child Development Center
Directors, Family Child Care Coordinators, and Dependent Resource
Coordinators.
2. ACTION
. Area and District Commanders; Commanders of Maintenance and
Logistics Commands; Commanding Officers of Headquarters units;
Assistant Commandants for Directorates, Chief Counsel, and Special
Staff Offices at Headquarters shall ensure compliance with the
provisions of this directive.
3. DIRECTIVES AFFECTED
. The articles or paragraphs this change modifies
or adds are in chapters 4 and 5. The change clarifies policy
affecting the use of appropriated funds in center-based and in-home
child care programs.
