was approved by the Assistant Administrator, Office of
Services, General Services Administration, for the use of
all Federaj”agencies.

SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION

This specification covers the requirements for woven and nonwoven
buckram.
1.2 Classification.
1.2.1

es and classea. The finiahed cloth shall be of che following types and
classes, as specified (see 6.2).
Type I
- Resin finish.
Claas 1 - 5.7 ounces per square yard (fine texture).
Claas 2 - 5.7 ounces per square yard (medium texture).
TVDe 11 - Non-chlorine retentive resin finish.

Type 111 - Starch finish.
