FEDERAL SPECIFICATION
MIRRORS, GLASS
This specification is approved by the Commissioner, Federal Supply
Service, General Services Administration, for the use of all Federal
agencies.
1 SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION
1.1 Scope. This commercial item description covers wood and metal
framed wall mirrors of plate glass.
1.2 Classification. The mirrors shall be of the following classes and
styles as specified (see 6.2):
Classes
1 - Wood frame
2 - Metal frame
Styles
A - Light oak finish
B - Walnut finish
C - Chromium finished steel
D - Anodized aluminum
E - Stainless steel
Grades
1 - Type 302 or 304 stainless steel
2 - Type 430 stainless steel
