TAPE, TEXTILE; COTTON, GENERAL PURPOSE

This specification is approved by the Assistant Administrator, Office of
Federal Supply Services, General Services Administration, for the use of all
Federal agencies.

SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION
1.1 Scope.
This specification covers cotton tape for general use.
1 . 2 C l a s s i f i c a t i o n .
1.2.1 Types and classes. The tape shall be of the following types and
classes as specified (see 6,2).
Type I
- Stay bindings, herringbone twill weave
Type II
- Other bindings, herringbone twill weave
Type 111
- Bindings, plain weave
Type IV
- Binding, herringbone twill weave - special use
Class 1 - Unbleached
Class 2 - Bleached
Class 3
- Dyed
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 Government publications. The following documents, of the issue in effect
on date of invitation for bids or request for proposal, form a part of this
specification to the extent specified herein:
