1. SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION
1.1 Scope. This specification covers one-
hole and two-hole metal retaining straps for
conduit, pipe, and cable.
1.2 Classification.
1.2.1
Types ad styles. Retaining strape
shall be of the following types and stylee,
as specified (see 6.2):
Type I.-On+hole strap.
Style A—Malleable iron or steel.
Style B--Cold rolled or forged st4,
Type II-Two-hole strap.
Style A-Steel.
Type If-Two-hole strap.
Style A-Steel.
Style B-Aluminum.
1.2.2 sizes.
Unless otherwise specified
(6.2), retaining straps shall be furnished in
the sizes in accordance with tables I to IV,
inclusive.
2. APPLICABLE SPECIFICATIONS
