SELF-INDICATING,
LIQUID-IN-GLASS FOR MACHINERY AND PIPING SYSTEMS
This amendment was developed by the General Services
Administration,
Federal Supply Service, Washington, DC
20406, based upon currently available technical information.
It is recommended the Federal agencies use it in procure-
ment and forward recommendations for changes to the
preparing activity at the address shown above.
The General Services Administration has authorized the
use of this amendment as a valid exception to Federal
Specification GG-T-321D, dated

3.3.1.1 Delete the last sentence.

4.2.3 Delete paragraph and substitute:
“4.2.3 Sampling for examination and interchangeability.
Sample thermometers and wells shall be selected from each
lot in accordance with MIL-STD-105. The applicable

shall be 6.5 percent defective, and the inspection level
shall be S-3.”
4.2.4 Delete paragraph and substitute:
“Sampling
for lot acceptance tests. A random sample of
thermometers and wells shall be selected from each lot in
accordance with MIL-STD-105, and shall be subjected to
the tests specified in 4.4.1 through 4.4.5 to determine
conformance to the requirements of this specification.
The applicable AQL shall be 1.5 percent defective and the.
inspection level shall be S-2.”
4.3.1, .lines 4 and 5.
Delete the sentence “The applicable
AQL shall be 6.5 percent defective.”
