1. SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION
1.1 Scope. This spccifkntion covers me-
chanical fmgere and magnetic retrieving
tmds used for retrieving such objects as
screws, woehe~ nuts, bdte, pins, and sim-
ilnr objeeta frem tight or inaeceesible
places.

eral epccificutions do not cover all types and
classes of the commodity which are commer-
cially nvailnble, but cover only thasa types
and classes most commonly used by the Fed-
eral Covernmenti
