1.1 Scope.
- This specification defines the requirements for
pressure-sensitive ~apes possessing a hjigh deg~ee of stability,
solvent resistance, and designed for applications where the
properties of a polyester film are des+red (see 6.1).
1.2 Classification

1.2.1 Types.
- The pressure-sensitive tapes covered by this
specification shall be of the following types (see 6.2):
Type I
- Transparent polyester solvent resistant.
Type II - Colored polyester solvent, resistant.
