PRESERVATION AND PACKING OF HAND TOOLS; TOOLS AND TOOL ACCESSORIES
FOR POWER DRIVEN, METAL AND WOODWORKING MACHINERY
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this specification
by all Federal agencies.
1. SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION
1.1 Scope. This specification covers the requirements for preservation, packing and marking of
hand tools; tools and tool accessories for power driven, metal and woodworking machinery for
various degrees of protection required for shipment and storage. There are no classification
designations in this specification.
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 Government publications. The following documents, of the issues in effect on the date of
invitation for bids or request for proposal, form a part of this specification to the extent specified
herein.
