ALUMINUM ALLOY STRUCTURAL SHAPES, EXTRUDED, 6061
QQ-A-200/16A, dated 9 January 1974, is hereby canceled. Future acquisition for this material should refer to
the following:
For aerospace and unspecified applications use SAE Aerospace Materials Specification (AMS)
AMS-QQ-A-200/16, “Aluminum Alloy Structural Shapes, Extruded 6061 UNS A96061”.
For non-aerospace applications use American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM)
specifications ASTM B308/B308M, “Standard Specification for Aluminum-Alloy 6061-T6 Standard
Structural Profiles”.
(Application for copies of ASTM publications should be addressed to the American Society for Testing and
Materials, 100 Barr Harbor Drive, West Conshohocken, PA 19428-2959, or copies of AMS publications
should be addressed to the SAE International, 400 Commonwealth Drive, Warrendale, PA 15096-0001.)
