Use/Relationship: This data package allows the calibration technical order writers to provide input to the
government allowance standard monitor. The data provides recommended test equipment listing (TEL) for
specific calibration technical orders.
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data
product generated by the specific and discrete task requirements as delineated in the contract.
Requirements:
1. Contract
. This data item is generated by the contract that contains a specific work task to develop the data
product.
2. Format
. Contractor format is acceptable.
3. Content
.
a. NSN of end item.
b. Part number of end item.
c. Nomenclature of the end item.
d. Manufacturer of the end item.
e. Date TEL worksheet is created.
f. Calibration technical order (CTO) number.
g. Maintenance technical order (MTO) number, if available.
h. Indicate type of CTO requirement, new, rewrite, and revision/change.
i. If applicable, list current TELs.
j. Test equipment listing delineating the NSN, part number, nomenclature, quantity, expendability
recoverability repair code (ERRC) and usage. Exclude Common Shop Stock Items (XB3 items, such as,
terminations, adapters, cables, “as available” “not calibrated” “expendable” items, alcohol, etc.).
4. Example

5. Media
. The report shall be produced on 8 ½ x 11-inch plain bond paper.
