MIL-STD-17/1B, dated 16 September 1977, is hereby canceled. Future acquisitions should refer
to ASTM F1000, Standard Practice for Piping Systems Drawing Symbols, ASTM F856,
Standard Practice for Symbols-Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), or ASME
Y32.2.6, Graphic Symbols for Heat-Power Apparatus, as applicable.
