MIL-STD-3005, dated 20 September 1999, is hereby canceled. Future acquisitions may
refer STANAG 4591 (The 600 Bits/S, 1,200 Bits/S, and 2,400 Bits/S NATO Interoperable
Narrow Band Voice Coder), but users are cautioned to evaluate document for their particular
application before citing it as a replacement document.
