This supplement implements and extends the guidance of Air Force Instruction (AFI) 11-209,
Participation in Aerial Events, and applies to all Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC)
assigned units participating in aerial events (including static displays). This publication applies
to ANG and AFRC. It applies to members of other commands, direct reporting units (DRUs)
and field operating agencies (FOA) (assigned and attached) when performing crew duties in
AFGSC aircraft or under mission control authority of AFGSC. Ensure that all records created as
a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with Air Force
Manual (AFMAN) 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of in accordance with the Air
Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS) Record Disposition Schedule
(RDS). Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication routed through the
appropriate functional chain of command to the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR), HQ
AFGSC/A3XX, using the AF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication. This
publication may be supplemented at any level, but all supplements must be routed to the OPR of
this publication for coordination prior to certification and approval. Submit requests for waivers
through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately,
to the requestors commander for non-tiered compliance items. The use of the name or mark of
any specific manufacturer, commercial product, commodity, or service in this publication does
not imply endorsement by the Air Force.
