This supplement implements and extends guidance to Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 11-2UH-
1NV3, UH-1N Helicopter Operations Procedures It applies to and prescribes specific guidance
for Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) commanders, training managers, supervisors, and
aircrews operating UH-1N helicopters. This supplement applies to Air Force Reserve Command
(AFRC) units that operate the UH-1N. It is not applicable to Air National Guard or United States
Space Force. Ensure that all records created as a result of the processes prescribed in this
publication are maintained in accordance with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Records
Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with Air Force
Records Information Management System (AFRIMS). The authorities to waive wing/Space Force
equivalent/unit level requirements in this publication are identified with a Tier (“T-0, T-1, T-2, T-
3”) number following the compliance statement. See Department of the Air Force Manual
(DAFMAN) 90-161, Publishing Processes and Procedures, for a description of the authorities
associated with the Tier numbers. Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to
the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the requestor’s commander for
non-tiered compliance items. This publication may be supplemented at any level, but all
supplements must be routed to the OPR of this publication for coordination prior to certification
