This mission directive implements policy guidance in AFPD 38-6, Mission Directives, AFI 38-
601, Format and Content of Mission Directives, and AFI 38-101, Air Force Organization. It
applies to the United States Air Force Expeditionary Center (USAF EC). Its purpose is to
prescribe mission, organization, and processes. It applies to Air Mobility Command (AMC)
active duty units effective upon the date of unit activation. This mission directive does not apply
to Air Force Reserve Command. This publication applies to the ANG only upon mobilization.
This publication may not be supplemented or further implemented/extended. Ensure that all
records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained IAW Air
Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of IAW Air Force
Records Information Management System. Submit requests for waivers through the chain of
command to the OPR for non-tiered compliance items. Refer recommended changes and
questions about this publication to the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) using Air Force
Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route AF Form 847s from the field
through the appropriate functional’s chain of command. See Attachment 1 for list of references
and abbreviations.
