This instruction implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 36-26, Total Force Development
and Management, establishes policy for student administration, conduct and documentation, and
provides management guidelines for all Air Education and Training Command (AETC) fighter
pilot training programs and units that fall under Nineteenth Air Force (19 AF). This instruction
applies to all AETC units conducting graduate-level fighter flying training and Introduction to
Fighter Fundamentals (IFF). This instruction applies to Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) and
Air National Guard (ANG). Units will coordinate local supplements through 19 AF/DOG prior to
publication and forward a copy to 19 AF/DOG after publication. Ensure all records created as a
result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with (IAW) Air
Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of IAW the Air Force
Records Disposition Schedule located in the Air Force Records Information Management System
(AFRIMS). Subordinate units may supplement this instruction. Submit suggested changes to this
instruction on AF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication, through command
channels, to 19 AF/DOV workflow email. The authorities to waive wing/unit level requirements
in this publication are identified with a Tier (“T-0, T-1, T-2, T-3”) number following the
