(ANG) This addendum implements AFI21-101_ANGSUP, Aircraft and Equipment Maintenance
Management. This addendum prescribes policies and procedures governing aerospace equipment
maintenance management of F-35 Aircraft for the ANG. This instruction applies to all ANG
organizations (including ANG-led Active Associations) and personnel during non-federalized
periods that maintain aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, support equipment, and components. It
does not apply to Classic and AFRC-led ARC Associations. Maintenance units will use this
addendum in conjunction with the ANG Supplement to AFI 21-101; if a conflict exists between
the ANG supplement and this addendum, the addendum will take precedence. The authorities to
waive wing/unit level requirements in this publication are identified with a Tier (“T-0, T-1, T-2,
T-3”) number following the compliance statement. See AFI 33-360 for a description of the
authorities associated with the Tier numbers. Submit requests for waivers through the chain of
command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the Publication OPR
for non-tiered compliance items. Process waiver request in accordance with Air National Guard
Manual (ANGMAN) 33-360, Management of Air National Guard Waivers. Refer recommended
changes and questions about this publication to the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) using
the AF Form 847 Recommendation for Change of Publication; route AF Forms 847 from the field

implements policy and management guidance. The use of the name or mark of any specific
manufacturer, commercial product, commodity, or service in this publication does not imply
endorsement by the Air Force. Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed
in this publication are maintained in accordance with AFI 33-322, Records Management and
Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with Air Force Records
