(ANG) This guidance supplements DESR 6055.09_AFMAN 91-201_, Explosives Safety
Standards, Dated 28 May 2020. This supplement covers procedures and standards to promote the
safe storage, handling, and transportation of US-titled Ammunitions and Explosives (AE) and is
to be used in conjunction with the parent manual. It applies to all Air National Guard Personnel
to include state employees responsible for the safety of Arms Ammunition & Explosives
(AA&E), aircraft, facilities, personnel, and equipment. Refer comments and recommended
changes to this publications to the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) at NGB/SEW, 3500
Fetchet Avenue, Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762-5157, using the Air Force Form 847,
Recommendation for Change of Publication. The authorities to waive wing/unit level
requirements in this publication are identified with a Tier (“T-0, T-1, T-2, T-3”) number
following the compliance statement. See AFI 33-360, Publications and Forms Management, for a
description of the authorities associated with the Tier numbers. Submit requests for waivers
through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority. Ensure all
records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in
accordance with AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and
disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule (RDS) located in the
Air Force Records Management System. The use of the name or mark of any specific
