TRAINING, TESTING, AND LICENSING FOR OPERATORS OF
CLASS A AND CLASS I MOTORBOATS
1. Purpose. This regulation establishes policy and procedures for the training, testing, and
licensing of operators of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) boats less than 26 feet in
length.
2. Applicability. This regulation is applicable to all Headquarters U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers (HQUSACE) elements, major subordinate commands (MSCs), districts, laboratories,
and field operating activities performing small boat operations.
3. Distribution Statement. Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited.
