Real Estate
APPRAISAL
1. Purpose. This regulation describes the general procedures, requirements, guidelines and
standards governing all appraisal work undertaken in connection with the real estate assignments
and responsibilities of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers may deviate from any policy in this regulation as necessary unless required by law or
another binding regulation.
2. Applicability. This Regulation applies to all Divisions and Districts having a real estate
mission and real estate responsibilities.
3. Distribution Statement. This regulation is approved for public release; distribution is
unlimited.
