FEDERAL SPECIFICATION
ENAMEL; GLOSS, SYNTHETIC
(FOR METAL AND WOOD FUTNITURE)
This specification was approved by the Commissioner, Federal
Supply Service, General Services Administration, for use of all
Federal Agencies.
1. SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION
1.1 Scope. This specification covers a synthetic, gloss enamel for metal and wood
furniture to be applied by brushing, spraying, or dipping.
1.2 Classification.
1.2.1 The enamel shall be of two classes.
Class 1 - Air-drying.
Class 2 - Baking.
