Use/relationship:
To provide the details and procedures for determining end item compliance with
respect to specified maintainability requirements.
Requirements:
1. Reference documents. The applicable issue of the documents cited herein,
including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and
revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.
2. Content. The Maintainability/Testability Demonstration Test Plan shall contain
all of the information necessary to evaluate the demonstration test, procedures to be
followed, test selection rationale, test duration, test start date, scenario, and ground
rules as defined in paragraph 301.2 of Task 301 of MIL-STD-470, as tailored for
the particular acquisition.
3. Format. The format of the plan shall be in accordance with ANSI Z39.18, “Sci-
entific and Technical Reports: Organization, Preparation, and Production”.
