This report provides the results, conclusions, data analysis, and records of the main-
tainability/testability demonstration
.
Requirements:
1. Reference documents. The applicable issue of the documents cited herein,
including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and
revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.
2. Content. The Maintainability/testability demonstration test report shall include
the information required by paragraph 301.2 of Task 301 of MIL-STD-470 as
tailored for the particular acquisition, and the following:
a. Statistical confidence calculations.
b. Discussion of methods and conditions of the demonstration, including
methods of evaluating the data obtained and comparison of the conditions with those
anticipated in ultimate deployment and use of the contract item.
c. Results obtained, including specific identification and discussion of
objectives demonstrated satisfactorily and those not demonstrated satisfactorily.
d. Contractor’s conclusions, corrective action anticipated, recommendation
to correct deficiencies, and suggested improvements based on evaluation of the test/
demonstration results.
e. All analysis and supporting data.
f. All data sheets.
3. Format. The format of the report shall be in accordance with ANSI Z39.18,
“Scientific and Technical Reports: Organization, Preparation, and Production”.
