PREPARATION OF DIGITIAL TECHNICAL INFROMATION
FOR
MULTI-OUTPUT PRESENTATION OF TECHNICAL MANUALS
MIL-STD-40051B including change 1, dated 30 November 2003, and any subsequent
revisions or change notices are inactive for new design and shall be no longer used to
acquire technical manuals for new systems.
New systems should use MIL-STD-40051-1 entitled "DOD Standard Practice,
Preparation of Technical Information for Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals
(IETMs)" and MIL-STD-40051-2 entitled "DOD Standard Practice, Preparation of
Technical Information for Page-Based Technical Manuals", to acquire technical manuals.
CAUTION: The supersession information is valid as of the date of this notice and may
be superseded by subsequent revisions of the superseding document.
