WINCHES, DRUM, HAND-OPERATED, SPUR GEAR,
2 OR 3 PURCHASE
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and
Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers hand-operated, single-drum, spur gear driven, 2- or
3-purchase type winches.
1.2 Classsification.
The winches are of the following sizes, as specified (see 6.2):
