This supplement implements and extends the guidance of Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 13-212
V1, Range Planning and Operations. This supplement provides additional guidance for range
responsibilities, scheduling and safety. It applies to all Air Force Global Strike Command
(AFGSC) units conducting fixed-wing flying operations. This supplement applies to Air National
Guard and Air Force Reserve Command units operating aircraft on AFGSC controlled ranges.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are
maintained in accordance with Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-363, Management of Records,
and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Information Management System
(AFRIMS) Record Disposition Schedule (RDS). Refer comments, recommended changes and
questions about this publication to AFGSC/A3TO, Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) using
the AF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication, through standardization and
evaluation channels, to AFGSCA3TWorkflow.1@us.af.mil or Headquarters Air Force Global

Unless otherwise specified, the Director of Operations (AFGSC/A3) is the overall waiver
authority for this supplement. Waiver requests to this instruction will be channeled through
AFGSC/A3T for approval routing to AFGSC/A3. Units may supplement this instruction. The
operations group commander (OG/CC) is the waiver authority for unit generated supplements.
Prior to publication, forward unit supplements to AFGSC/A3T for approval.
