This supplement implements and refines the guidance of AFMAN17-1203 and details the standard
operating procedures for the 844 Communications Group (844 CG). If guidance in this supplement
conflicts with AFMAN17-1203_AFGM2020-01, use the more restrictive guidance unless
otherwise noted. This supplement applies to all Air Force District of Washington (AFDW)
organizational components and organizations conducting business for and on behalf of 844 CG
when using information technology (IT) assets. The instruction applies to hardware (H/W) and
software (S/W) in the operational IT environment and does not supersede any applicable Air Force
directive, or existing management agreement. Refer recommended changes and questions about
this instruction to the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) using the AF Form 847,
Recommendation for Change of Publication; route AF Forms 847 through the appropriate chain
of command. Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication
are maintained in accordance with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 33-322, Records Management and
Information Governance Program, and disposed of in accordance with Air Force Records
Information Management System (AFRIMS) Records Disposition Schedule (RDS).
