Central Security Service, and is available for use by
all Departments and

1. SCOPE.
1.1 ~. This specificationescablishee requirements for the devel-
opment and preparation of test
requirements documents (TRD) for hardware,
computer
programs and firmware configuration or critical items.
1.2 Purpose. The purpose of this specification is to identify the tests
to be performed, the types and quantities
of test equipment and performance
criteria for demoni+crationand verificationof compliance with established end
item functionalcharacteristics.
1.3 /ypiication.
Test requirements documents are prepared by those
activities responsible for design, development and testing of deliverable
functionalelectronic, computer program and firmware configuration or critical
items when the functional characteristics for the end item have been estcib-
