Phase Report.
Use/Relationship:
The Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Analysis Report documents, in complete detail,
the information supporting and resulting from the RCM analysis of a system or asset conducted
with the support of an RCM Review Group.
This Data Item Description (DID) provides guidance pertaining to the format, content, and
intended purpose for the information generated in support of the contract SOW. This DID is
related to DI-PSSS-82115, RCM Analysis Information Phase Report and DI-PSSS-82116, RCM
Analysis Decision Phase Report.
Requirements:
1. Reference documents. The applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their
approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as
specified in the contract.
2. Format.
a. The report and all attachments shall be developed with a word processor, and be
computer-generated.
b. The report shall be formatted to be printed on standard letter size paper (8½" x 11").
c. All enclosures shall be fully identified, referenced in the text, and folded to conform
to the size paper used in the report.
d. Security classification and distribution markings shall conform to the requirements of
the contract, purchase description and security requirements of the contract, purchase description
and security requirements checklist, as applicable.
3. Content.
a. Title page. Identifies the report, project name, system name, contract number, task
number and analysis date.
b. Table of contents. The table of contents identifies the topics covered in each part of
the report and references the page on which each topic begins.
