STEEL MILL PRODUCTS PREPARATION FOR SHIPMENT AND STORAGE
MIL-STD-163C, including Change Notice 3, dated 5 May 1998, is hereby canceled.
Future acquisitions may refer to ASTM A 700, “Packaging, Marking, and Loading
Methods for Steel Products for Shipment,” but users are cautioned to evaluate this
document for their particular application before using it as a replacement document.
Copies of ASTM International standards are available from ASTM International,
100 Barr Harbor Drive, P.O. Box C700, West Conshohocken, PA 19428-2959 or
www.astm.org.
