MILITARY STANDARD
CLEANING AND TREATMENT OF ALUMINUM
PARTS PRIOR TO PAINTING
MIL-STD-338(AT), 5 October 1987, is hereby cancelled. However, the technical
information and the lessons learned from this standard have been preserved in
MIL-HDBK-509(AT). MIL-HDBK-509(AT) is for guidance only and should not be cited as a
requirement, but information in the handbook may be useful in determining or evaluating
requirements.
