This manual implements AFPD 11-2, Aircrew Operations, and is consistent with the policy
prescribed in AFI 11-200, Aircrew Training Standardization/Evaluation, and General Operations
Structure, and AFI 11-202, Volume 1, Aircrew Training. It applies to all E-9 aircrew under Air
Combat Command (ACC) authority, including Air Force Reserve (AFR) or Air National Guard
(ANG) personnel that operate E-9 aircraft. This manual establishes the minimum standards for
training and qualifying E-9 aircrew. This publication requires the collection and or maintenance
of information protected by the Privacy Act of 1974 authorized by 5 United States Code, Section
552a, Records Maintained on Individuals, as amended; departmental regulations; 37 United States
Code, Pay and Allowances of the Uniformed Services; and Executive Order 9397, Numbering
System for Federal Accounts Relating to Individual Persons, as amended. Vigilance must be taken
to protect Personally Identifiable Information when submitting or sending nominations,
applications or other documents to Department of Defense (DoD) agencies through government
Internet, software applications, systems, e-mail, postal, faxing or scanning. Refer to the following
directives for additional guidance: AFI 33-332, Air Force Privacy and Civil Liberties Program,
DoDI 5400.11-R, Department of Defense Privacy Program. Forms containing Personally
