This publication implements Department of the Air Force Policy Directive (DAFPD) 17-2, Cyber
Warfare Operations and references Air Combat Command Instruction (ACCI) 17-202, Volume 1,
Cybercrew Training. It establishes the minimum Air Force (AF) standards for training and
qualifying/certifying personnel to perform offensive cyberspace Telephony Network Operations
(TNO) crewmember duties. This publication applies to all Air Combat Command (ACC) Regular
Air Force, AF Reserve, Air National Guard, and third party governmental and contract support
agencies in accordance with (IAW) appropriate provisions contained in memoranda, support
agreements and AF contracts. This publication does not apply to the United States Space Force.
ACC, as lead command for cyberspace, will conduct all lead command functions in accordance
with Department of the Air Force Instruction (DAFI) 33-360, Publications and Forms
Management, and subsequent guidance. Ensure that all records created as a result of processes
prescribed in this publication are maintained IAW AFI 33-322, Records Management and
Information Governance Program, and disposed of IAW Air Force Records Information
Management System Records Disposition Schedule. This publication requires the collection and
or maintenance of information protected by the Privacy Act of 1974 authorized by 5 United States
Code (USC), Section 552a, as amended; departmental regulations; and Executive Order (EO)
9397, Numbering System for Federal Accounts Relating to Individual Persons, as amended.
Vigilance must be taken to protect Personally Identifiable Information when submitting or
sending nominations, applications or other documents to Department of Defense (DoD) agencies
through government Internet, software applications, systems, e-mail, postal, faxing or scanning.
