SUBJECT: AMC Guidance Memorandum (GM) to AFI23-101 AMCSUP, Materiel
Management Policy
RELEASABILITY: There are no releasability restrictions on this publication.
1. By order of the Commander, Air Mobility Command, this Guidance Memorandum
immediately implements changes to AFI 23-101, Material Management Policy, AMC
Supplement, 22 June 2021. Compliance with this memorandum is mandatory. To the extent its
directions are conflicting with other AMC publications, the information herein prevails IAW
DAFI 90-160, Publications and Forms Management.
2. This Guidance Memorandum continues and incorporates previously published guidance
implemented under the basic AFI 23-101. The attached list of guidance changes provides
revisions to the AMC supplement published 22 June 2021 and provides for continued use of the
instruction until a revised AMC supplement to AFI 23-101 is published.
3. This memorandum becomes void after one-year has elapsed from the date of this
memorandum, or upon publication of an Interim Change or rewrite of the affected AFI 23-101
AMCSUP, whichever is earlier.
