This instruction implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 10-21, Air Mobility Lead
Command roles and Responsibilities and seeks to standardize the Joint Airborne Air
Transportability Training (JA/ATT) processes and procedures. This instruction replaces AMC
OPORD 17-76, Joint Airborne/Air Transportability Training. It establishes policies,
responsibilities, and procedures for conducting JA/ATT missions. It is applicable to AMC, Air
National Guard (ANG) and Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Mobility Air Forces (MAF)
units. This instruction applies during peacetime, contingency, and wartime. This publications
may not be supplemented or further implemented/extended. Ensure that all records created as a
result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained IAW Air Force Manual
(AFMAN) 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of IAW Air Force Records
Information Management System (AFRIMS) Records Disposition Schedule (RDS). Send
comments and suggested improvements to this publication on AF Form 847, Recommendation
for Change of Publication, through channels, to HQ AMC/A3D, 402 Scott Drive Unit 3A1, Scott
AFB IL 62225-5302. Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to HQ
AMC/A3D in accordance with (IAW) paragraph 1.4.. AFRC and ANG units submit requests
for deviations from this instruction to the National Guard Bureau (NGB) A3 or HQ AFRC/A3
for approval.
