This instruction is implemented by Air Force Policy Directive 63-1, Integrated Life Cycle
Management, and establishes guidance from AFI 63-101/20-101, Integrated Life Cycle
Management. It provides guidance for the Air Mobility Command (AMC) Configuration
Review Board (CRB) process. It applies to AMC units and Using Commands which operate
aircraft and other systems in which AMC has been designated as Lead Command IAW AFPD
10-9, Lead Command Designation and Responsibilities for Weapon Systems. This publication
does apply to Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard. Ensure that all records created as a
result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with Air Force
Manual (AFMAN) 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of in accordance with Air
Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS) Records Disposition Schedule
(RDS). Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the Office of
Primary Responsibility (OPR) using AF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication;
route AF Forms 847 from the field through the appropriate functional chain of command. This
publication may not be supplemented or further implemented/extended. The authorities to waive
wing/unit level requirements in this publication are identified with a tier (“T-2, T-3”) number
following the compliance statement. See AFI 33-360, Publications and Forms Management, for
a description of the authorities associated with the tier numbers. Submit requests for (T-2) and
non-tiered waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval
authority through HQ AMC/A4QF, ORG.AMCA4-17@us.af.mil. Use of the name or mark of
