This Mission Directive implements policy and guidance in AFI 38-101, Manpower and
Organization. It delineates the mission, command relationships, and responsibilities of the 413th
Flight Test Group. It applies to all personnel assigned or attached to the 413th Flight Test Group.
It does not apply to Reg AF, ANG, or Space Force personnel. Ensure that all records created as a
result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with (IAW) AFI
33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of IAW the
Air Force Records Information Management System and Records Disposition Schedule. Contact
supporting records managers as required. Refer recommended changes and questions about this
publication to the OPR using DAF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route
DAF Forms 847 from the field through the appropriate functional chain of command to the OPR
of this publication. This publication may not be supplemented.

1. Mission. The 413
th
Flight Test Group Command and Control provides a single command and
control structure, administrative support, and training oversight of the assigned Air Force Reserve
personnel over six geographically separated units and three local units. The diverse mission
includes two distinct flying missions, a personnel support mission, and an aeromedical staging
mission. The 413th operates 16 mission design series aircraft in support of depot level maintenance
