This Mission Directive implements policy and guidance in AFPD 38-1, Manpower and
Organization, AFI 38-101, Manpower and Organization. It delineates the mission, command
relationships, and responsibilities of AFRC Aircraft Maintenance Squadrons (AMXS). This
Mission Directive applies to individuals assigned to HQ AFRC. It does not apply to Regular Air
Force, Space Force, or ANG units. Ensure that all records created as a result of processes
prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with IAW AFI 33-322, Records
Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of IAW the Air Force Records
Information Management System and Records Disposition Schedule. Contact supporting records
managers as required. Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the
OPR using DAF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route DAF Forms 847
from the field through the appropriate functional chain of command. This publication may not be
