This mission directive implements guidance in AFI 38-101, Manpower and Organization. It
delineates the mission, command relationships, and responsibilities of AFRC Global Power
Fighter Squadrons. This mission directive applies to individuals assigned to HQ AFRC and
subordinate units. It does not apply to Regular Air Force, Space Force, or Air National Guard units.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained
IAW AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of
IAW the Air Force Records Information Management System Records Disposition Schedule.
Contact supporting records managers as required. Refer recommended changes and questions
about this publication to the OPR using DAF 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication;
route DAF 847 from the field through the appropriate functional chain of command. This
publication may not be supplemented at any level.
SUMMARY OF CHANGES
This publication has been revised to clarify the title, purpose, mission, command, update the
glossary/references and added an Attachment 2.
1. Mission. Air Force Reserve Command’s, Global Power, Fighter and Attack Wings, assigned
to 10AF, provide ready and trained citizen airmen in three of the five Air Force Core Mission
Areas: air & space superiority; intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance; and global strike.
