Training of Aircrew; and AFIC Information Publication ASM 3009 Ed 1 v3, Spatial
Disorientation. This manual is consistent with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)
Standardization Agreement (STANAG) 3114, Aeromedical Training of Flight Personnel; NATO
STANAG 3474, Temporary Flying Restrictions Due to Exogenous Factors Affecting Aircrew

units assigned to or gained by major commands (MAJCOM) and Headquarters (HQ) United States
Air Force (USAF) direct reporting units (DRU) and Civil Air Patrol (CAP). This applies to

personnel, and passengers assigned or attached to all flying activities of these MAJCOMs and
