By Order of the Commander, Pacific Air Forces, this PACAF Guidance Memorandum
immediately implements changes to AFI 21-101, Aircraft and Equipment Maintenance Management,
Compliance with this memorandum is mandatory. To the extent its direction is inconsistent with other
PACAF publications, the information herein prevails, in accordance with (IAW) DAFI 33-360,
Publications and Forms Management.
This Guidance Memorandum continues and incorporates previously published guidance
implemented under the basic DAFI 21-101 and its GM published 1 October 2021. The attached guidance
lists changes which differ from the PACAF supplement published 26 October 2020, addresses new DAF
guidance, and provides for continued use of the instruction until a revised AFI 21-101 PACAF
supplement is published. This publication applies to all PACAF units and AFRC/ANG (ARC) Classic
Associate units. This publication does not apply to the United States Space Force. Compliance with the
supplemental attachments in this publication is mandatory.
This memorandum becomes void after one-year has elapsed from the date of this memorandum,
or upon publication of an Interim Change or rewrite of the affected AFI 21-101_PACAFSUP, whichever
is earlier.
