SUBJECT: United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) Guidance Memorandum (GM) to
USAFAI 36-3504 - Disenrollment of United States Air Force Academy Cadets
1. By Order of the Superintendent, this Guidance Memorandum immediately implements
changes to USAFAI 36-3504. Compliance with this memorandum is mandatory. To the extent
its directions are inconsistent with other USAFA publications, the information herein prevails, in
accordance with DAFMAN 90-161, Publishing Processes and Procedures.
2. This GM updates guidance on the processes and procedures for suspending USAFA cadets
from cadet duties and updating the authority of the Superintendent to place a suspended cadet on
involuntary excess leave.
3. The memorandum becomes void after one year has elapsed from the date of this
memorandum, or upon publication of an Interim Change or rewrite of the affected publication,
whichever occurs earlier.
