SUMMARY OF CHANGES
The application process to become a sponsor has been updated. This update introduces the
requirement to have a background check, the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS),
training requirements for sponsor families and waiver authority (T-3). The version also aims to
clarify and align the commander’s intent of the Cadet Sponsor Program.
