1. REISSUANCE AND PURPOSE
This Directive:
1.1. Reissues reference (a).
1.2. Establishes policies and assigns responsibilities under references (b) and (c) for
the selection of matriculants to the USUHS.
1.3. Provides policy authority for the procedures detailed in reference (d).
2. APPLICABILITY AND SCOPE
This Directive applies to:
2.1. The Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Military Departments, and the
USUHS.
