ESC Engineering Services is a Government Contractor for NASA working out of the Kennedy Space Center who has been tasked to do the editing of all NASA specification sections. Upon NASA joining DoD as a participant
of the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) and the tasking from DoD to assist in the editing of Army and Navy sections, it was determined that a method of tracking the status of a particular section was needed,
thus the creation of this spreadsheet. Each of the active agencies have Technical Proponents (TP's) who meet called Design Working Groups (DWG). These people and groups are responsible for reviewing, commenting,
editing and approving changes made to all specifications within the UFGS. This spreadsheet is used to know what sections are being edited, by who, and what the progress is based upon the date listed and graphically by
the "red" progress bar. Listed below are all of the sections currently found within the UFGS, who the proponent (responsible agency) is, a comments column and then a series of steps required for posting for public use.
